A community-centred entrepreneurship training program for women and SHG members, designed in partnership with MARGN, focused on business skills, enterprise opportunities, and government scheme awareness to build confidence, independence, and long-term self-sustainability.
Overview
Training Design for Women Entrepreneurs on Entrepreneurship and Government Schemes
We partnered with MARGN to research the needs of women entrepreneurs and Self-Help Group (SHG) members. Based on the findings, we designed and delivered a customised training program focused on entrepreneurship, business skills, and relevant government schemes to support their growth and self-sustainability.
The project began with scoping calls with the client to understand the requirements and the current status of SHG members. After finalising the scope and training needs aligned with the project objectives, we conducted detailed research on entrepreneurship opportunities and government schemes available at both the Himachal Pradesh state and central government levels.
Based on these insights, we developed a tailored training pedagogy and successfully delivered the program to more than 15 artisan groups.
This initiative aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to pursue entrepreneurship, enabling them to become self-sustainable and confident in managing their businesses.
